Introduction of the Institute

Gautam Buddha Technical & Medical Educational Society (a Society with National Presence) was established in 2009 by group of professionals dedicated for the uplift of disadvantage groups of the Society. It recognizes not only the reserved groups Scheduled in the Constitution of India but also includes women, candidates below Poverty Line who are unable to pursue formal education in urge to earning their livelihood, Wards of Deceased Army and Police personnel, Wards of Widows and specially the School Dropouts.

The major field identified by the Management Committee was Vocational and Technical education including short term courses with Multi-entry and Multi-exit options so that the candidates may earn while they learn. As per the socio economic data of our country, the major reason for poverty and unemployment in our country is the lack of education and skills which enables a person to find a suitable job in the Modern Industrial Arena. Today the Society has established ITI (Gautam Buddha Pvt. I.T.I) & Vocational Training Institution.

The institution has always emphasized on Professional, Technical and Para Medical Education so that we can built a work force equipped with technical knowledge and craftsmen skills in a very short span of their lives. The programs are very carefully chosen which are innovative and relevant to the society and are being offered with moderate fee yet modern facilities. All the programs are aimed both the aspiring students as well as the working professionals. Flexible mode of teaching represents a major element in our programs.

The Institution for the first time is also going to introduce “Industry Sponsored Courses” wherein the students will be trained as per the requirement of the specific Industry and will be practically trained in the concerned Industry itself. After passing out from the course, they will be appointed in the concerned Industry.

The Institution strives to produce highly employable professionals of highest possible quality in areas of strategic importance, which would not only benefit the students but would also fuelIndia’s growth towards a developed economy.

Objectives of the Society

Gautam Buddha Technical & Medical Educational Society came into being to achieve the following objectives:

• To ensure that the quality education reaches one and all in the society specially the deprived and disadvantage groups of the Society.
• To play a pivotal role in taking technical education to the bottom of the pyramid to ensure that they are provided with an opportunity to get quality education at affordable cost and get a chance to bring themselves to the mainstream of the society.
• To coordinate and bring the syllabus, pedagogy and expertise of different boards and Universities under one roof so that students could be given an opportunity to choose from a wide range of subjects and options which would enable them to learn and then perform in their respective area of interest.
• To run employment oriented courses which give all the students a chance to secure employment in their respective areas of expertise.
• To provide an opportunity of different modes of study (Face to Face, Part–Time, Distance Learning) so that not only students but professional also could learn and grow. It would also provide an opportunity to learners to learn at one’s own pace and place.
• To provide access to higher education and/or technical education to all those who seek it with an attempt to democratize the education by taking it to the doorsteps of the learners.
